National Alaskan Native American Indian Nurses Association

A collaborative partnership meeting was held in Washington, DC in July 2010 with the Indian Health Service Division of Nursing, the IHS National Nurse Leadership Council, The Native American Nurses Association (NANA from Arizona), the New Mexico Indian Nursing Association (NMINA), Navajoland Nurses United for Research, Service, and Education (N-NURSE). The meeting focused on potential partnering and collaboration for meeting our communities and service area needs. The event was sponsored by the Indian Health Service, Division of Nursing in conjunction with their annual nurse leadership meeting.
